- Katahdin Woods and Waters Scenic Byway - Mt. Katahdin is the northern terminus of the the AT.
- Bethel Scenic Drives - These are in the western part of the state close to New Hampshire. Several ar secribed on this page - one for covered bridges and one for Grafton Notch
